Train a Mental Health Champion for your school
An independently evaluated programme delivered by Place2Be and designed to develop the knowledge and skills of teachers, proven to increase confidence in handling mental health issues in school. The programme is aimed at key classroom-based staff who can disseminate to effectively to colleagues.
8 half day sessions starting in March 2021, the programme will cover:
- Managing classroom behaviour
- An introduction to attachment theory and neuroscience
- Supporting children’s emotional development and well being
- Boosting pupils resilience and self belief
- Supporting the whole school community, including parents and carers
- Managing your own emotional well being
- Cognitive behavioural and solution focused techniques
The programme is heavily subsidised and will cost £195 to Schools of Tomorrow Fellowship members and £295 to non fellowship schools.
